FAIRBORN, Ohio — Launching what it calls the Credit Union Student Choice program, Wright-Patt Credit Union here is trying to help more of its members go to college by helping to fill the funding gaps not covered by federal aid. The program is marked by lower rates, zero origination fees and flexible repayment terms.

Linda Stephens, vice president of consumer lending at Wright-Patt CU said, "As a not-for-profit credit union serving our members, we have the unique ability to design products that are truly in the best interest of the student and their family." The new program compliments Wright-Patt's 3-for-3 Student Essentials Package, which includes checking, online banking with eStatements and bill pay.
