Service 1st Federal Credit Union, Danville, Pa., offered several different programs in honor of Credit Union Youth Week and the theme "Got Green? Grow It at Your Credit Union." One program was Service 1st FCUs Green Loan program. Incentives were offered to members who purchased a qualifying hybrid during the week. Any qualified hybrid loan purchased received a 1.00% loan rate discount on new or used hybrids. Another program was titled "Considering Hybrid Technology?" Service 1st FCU invited visitors to come learn about the benefits of purchasing a hybrid vehicle. Aubrey Alexander Toyota had cars on site at the Danville, Lewisburg, and Shamokin Dam offices and representatives were on hand to help visitors learn about and understand the latest hybrid technology and benefits. The final program was a Youth Savings Challenge. Service 1st FCU invited parents to bring in kids for Youth Week activities and to learn how small change can lead to both saving for the future and saving the environment.

Delaware Federal Credit Union, Dover, Del., celebrated Credit Union Youth Week by offering any student between the ages of 6 and 18 the chance to win one day's interest on one million dollars and a limousine ride to and from school. Students opening a new account at Del-One during Youth Week were eligible to enter the prize and the chance to carry the title "Millionaire for a Day." All students visiting any Del-One branch during Youth Week also received complimentary giveaways.

Service One Credit Union, Bowling Green, Ky., held a Kid Fair at its Campbell Lane Branch in honor of Credit Union Youth Week. The fair aimed to provide free entertainment and deliver important safety messages to children in the community. Kids on the Block performed two puppet shows at the fair and BGMU was on-site to provide safety demonstrations. Kids also enjoyed face-painting activities, a "Cars" inflatable bouncer and a visit from Stanley the Trashcan. Refreshments were served and child ID kits were available.
