WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union is ready to meet the challenge of helping to raise the financial IQ of its young members.

The credit union is making the most of National Credit Union Youth Week to help set young consumers toward the path of financial independence.

Playing up the theme "Got Green? Grow It at Your Credit Union," each week in April, youth aged 18 or younger who make a $5 deposit will receive a free green gift. A new gift will be given each week, culminating with tree seedling gifts during National Youth Week.
