BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Carolina Postal Credit Union Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Deb McLean has been inducted into Who's Who in America's Credit Unions for 2008.

Designed to honor the highest levels of leadership, accomplishment and service in the credit union field, Who's Who in America's Credit Unions annually recognizes those who have contributed most to the nation's credit union movement.

"The American credit union movement is built upon professionals and volunteers who are impacting thousands of lives in communities across this nation," said Dennis Dollar, chairman of the editorial advisory board for Who's Who in America's Credit Unions. "Each year credit unions help countless people reach the American dream of financial self-sufficiency through a member-owned financial institution that cares about them. Deb McLean is one of the true leaders of America's credit unions, and her contributions to the credit union movement are noteworthy and deserving of this high recognition."

McLean was recognized for her innovative and groundbreaking marketing campaigns and ability to create new, cutting-edge financial products.

She previously served as senior marketing manager at Allegacy Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., and started her career in marketing at Truliant Federal Credit Union.

The 20-year credit union veteran has been honored as the CUES 2002 Marketer of the Year and garnered numerous other financial marketing awards from CUNA, the North Carolina Credit Union League, World Council of Credit Unions and CUES throughout her career.
