NAPERVILLE, Ill. — DuPage Credit Union has a new look and feel at www.dupagecu.com and said the makeover already is paying off.
The $255 million CU launched the site at www.dupagecu.com in December after it was redesigned by Extractable, a Web strategy consultancy in Foster City, Calif.
The site was designed to appeal to most age groups with a focus on calls to action that ensure no visitor is more than three clicks away from joining DuPage CU or getting information on a new product or service.
The 29,000-member CU serves Chicago's western suburbs and has about 40% of its members on the Web. Since the launch, the site has seen an increase of more than 1.4 million hits, and 58% more membership applications, in February this year over last year, the CU and company said.
