SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Federal Credit Union Board Director Sue E. Turner was recently inducted into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame.

The San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame, established in 1984, honors those women whose accomplishments have contributed substantially to life in South Texas. The retired Brigadier General was recognized for her outstanding personal achievement in the area of military service.

Turner gave more than 30 years of her life to the U.S. Air Force. As the former director of nursing services in the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General at Bolling AFB in Washington, D.C., she represented 23,000 men and women who provided nursing care.
