MILWAUKEE — The Secure Vault Payments system from NACHA–The Electronic Payments Association is getting processing support from Metavante Corp.
Secure Vault Payments (www.securevaultpayments.org) allows consumers to transact e-commerce and bill payments without sharing personal or account information online, simply by logging into their current financial institutions' Internet banking site.
The Metavante solution is being offered in an “open market” format, so financial institutions without existing relationships with Metavante also can use the service, the company said.
Metavante (www.metavante.com) provides payment and banking technologies to more than 8,000 financial services organizations worldwide.
NACHA (www.nacha.org) represents more than 11,000 financial institutions, a network of regional payments associations and 585 organizations through its industry councils.
