MIRAMAR, Fla. — Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union has recently received the "My Boss Is A Patriot" award from the National Guard and Reserve.
The credit union was honored for its support of 10-year employee Assistant Vice President for Insurance Services Yamilet Rubio, who is also a Master Sergeant with the Reserves.
A reservist for the past 20 years attached to a civil affairs battalion, Rubio was sent to Fort Dix to train servicemen and women from various military branches for deployment to Iraq a year and half ago.
