SAN ANTONIO — Digital Defense Inc. said it is now offering a multi-tiered information security risk assessment (ISRA) service portfolio.
Included in the offerings are workflow management and reporting tools that complement the ISRA consulting services the IT security firm has been providing credit unions and other clients since 2005.
The new tools meet requirements for the OCTAVE Allegro methodology from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, the company said.

The ISRA portfolio offers several levels of services, including Webinars and on- and off-site consulting that is designed to help businesses that don't have the internal expertise or other resources to identify security risks and meet compliance requirements.
"We have been using DDI's ISRA on-site service and automated risk assessment tool, and it has proven to be both a time and money saver. With the services and management tool that DDI developed, we can now effectively evaluate and mitigate information security risks found within our business operations," said H. Greg McClellan, president/CEO of $697 million MAX Credit Union in Montgomery, Ala.
Larry Hurtado, president and CEO of Digital Defense (www.digitaldefense.net), said, "We believe that providing a broad array of ISRA services along with an OCTAVE Allegro-compliant management tool will best serve organizations in our target markets."
