PLEASANTON, Calif. — 1st United Services Credit Union is transferring the operation and management of its Lemoore and Fallon branches to Navy Federal Credit Union.
"We have been proud to serve our Lemoore and Fallon members since the merger of ALFA Federal and City & County Employees in 1996. Although 1st USCU has invested greatly into the branches and community, these locations are outside of our main geographic area," stated the credit union in a letter to members. "Consequently we believe our Lemoore and Fallon members could be better served by transferring the operation and management of these branches to Navy Federal Credit Union."
In preparation for the transition, 1st USCU will be consolidating its downtown Lemoore and Fallon operations into its NAS Lemoore and NAS Fallon branches, respectively.

"We are determined to make this transition as smooth as possible. This decision was made knowing that Navy Federal is committed to friendly and personal service. In fact, the friendly faces that currently serve you will become a part of the Navy Federal team," continued the memo.
The credit union branch and ATM at 75 West Hanford-Armona Road closed on Feb. 22, 2008 and the 2260 Reno Highway facility will be closing on Feb. 28, 2008.
The operation and management of 1st USCU's NAS Lemoore Branch will transfer to Navy Federal on March 25, 2008 and the NAS Fallon Branch transfer is slated for March 28, 2008.
Per the mutual agreement, members will have the choice of retaining their 1st USCU membership and conduct business via remote channels, becoming a member of Navy Federal or opting to be a member of both credit unions.
