BURNSVILLE, Minn. — US Federal Credit Union partnered with Thrivent Financial and Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and opened its doors to the newly renovated Eastside Financial Center.

Residing in the old historic Swedish Bank Building on St. Paul's East Side, the Eastside Financial Center is a unique collaboration delivering an innovative combination of financial services, counseling and education providing all people the chance to 'Learn, Save and Prosper.'

USFCU will operate a full-service branch within the building offering a comprehensive menu of products and services, many designed exclusively for the eastside neighborhood of St. Paul.

To celebrate the opening of this visionary financial service model, the EFC held an exclusive 'Sneak Preview' event to officially unveil itself through visits from key metro television stations. The event's program featured Keynote Speaker, St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman; other local dignitaries, Congresswoman Betty McCollum and St. Paul City Councilmember Dan Bostrom; as well as representatives from each of the center's partners.

“We are very excited to serve the great people of East Side St. Paul,” said USFCU Branch Manager Karen Drummer. “Our full-service branch will offer accessibility to affordable products and services, including low-cost alternatives. I believe our presence in this neighborhood will have a positive effect for a great number of individuals within the community.”

The center seeks to enrich the financial well-being of the community by helping its people learn the tools of financial management, save earnings for future success, and prosper through the process of accumulating and sustaining appreciable assets.
