REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — DigitalPersona Inc. has released a new version of its widely used fingerprint authentication solution for enterprise networks and commercial applications.
The DigitalPersona Online 4.2 software includes added support for Microsoft Vista, Internet Explorer 7 and enterprise notebooks with embedded fingerprint readers, the company said.
The upgrade also includes remote access and desktop support for Citrix and MS Terminal Services.

"Businesses such as financial institutions come to DigitalPersona because of the high reliability of our authentication technology for Web-based banking application support," said Amr Assal, senior product marketing manager at DigitalPersona in Redwood City.
