ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — PSCU Financial Services says it expects to begin offering mobile banking and payment services to its 1,100 client credit unions later this year, using a software platform from mFoundry.
The big CUSO says it will use mFoundry's Spotlight Financial Platform and its relationships with Digital Dialogue, First Data Corp. CheckFree, eFunds Prepaid Services and core processors to offer a cost-effect, secure platform.
The service is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2008, the CUSO says.
mFoundry is based in Sausalito, Calif., and is one of a handful of mobile banking specialists gaining traction in credit union land. It also recently announced that Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) would offer the Spotlight platform to its client base of several hundred credit unions.
