VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — USERS Inc. is the first core processor in credit union land to earn a rigorous software development designation from the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute.
The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level II program was developed by SEI as a model for software improvement through highly defined, consistent, repeatable processes.
Only an estimated 1,200 organizations worldwide have achieved CMMI Level II or higher, the Fiserv Inc. business unit says.
