MIAMI, Ariz. – The FBI is continuing its probe of the defunct Marian Credit Union here, which the NCUA shuttered one year ago, according to a report in the Arizona Silver Belt.

The NCUA filed a “suspicious activity report” with the FBI after it found “disingenuous loans” that made the CU insolvent. The CU had assets of $8.7 million before being closed.
