TACOMA, Wash. — In a rebranding campaign, BN West Credit Union has changed its name to MilePost Credit Union.
Founded as a financial cooperative serving railroad employees, the $57 million credit union has grown over the course of 55 years to serve more than 7,000 members in Pierce County and the entire Western Washington area.
"Our new name reflects the mileposts that mark the progress of a journey toward a future destination, and our goal as a credit union is to help every member achieve financial freedom at each junction in life," said Dan Fiorino, president/CEO of MilePost. "MilePost marks a new course for members, guiding them toward the next generation of greater service, access, convenience and value. And our new branch is a testament to our desire to fulfill these goals and improve as we continue to grow."

In addition to celebrating the new name and complete rebranding of the credit union, MilePost was scheduled to open its second branch on Nov. 19.
"Many things are indeed changing at the Credit Union, but one thing I can promise that will not change is our commitment to our members," assures Bob Ainsworth, MilePost board chairman. "Member satisfaction is our highest priority and we will continue to offer the same full line of financial products and services that our members have come to expect including savings, checking and retirement products as well as loans and convenient services such as online banking and bill pay."
