TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The $4.5 billion Alliant Credit Union, headquartered in Chicago, is the latest CU to have joined up with Credit Union 24, a nationwide credit union owned ATM and point of sale debit network.

In addition to national, credit union-owned point-of-sale and ATM connectivity, Alliant Credit Union's more than 200,000 members will enjoy surcharge-free access at over 12,000 Credit Union 24 CU HERE ATMs across the country.

“The Credit Union 24 network presents us with an opportunity to expand our reach for our membership, and to do so within the credit union community,” said David Mooney, president and CEO of $4.5 billion Alliant Credit Union. “What's more, Alliant Credit Union and Credit Union 24 are both member-owned cooperatives, so we share the same ideals of economy and control.”

“We're very pleased that Alliant Credit Union has joined our cooperative,” said Jim Park, Credit Union 24's president and CEO. “As one of the country's top-10 credit unions, Alliant had a number of options available to them. Their decision illustrates that the benefits derived from a member-owned cooperative are for credit unions of all sizes.”
