SHREVEPORT, La. — The African-American Credit Union Coalition is now accepting applications for the NAFCU Cornerstone Award.
NAFCU will be working with the AACUC to provide AACUC members with the opportunity to attend NAFCU's Chief Executive Officers, Volunteers or Lending & Collections Strategies conferences or the NAFCU Regulatory Compliance School.
Any active AACUC member who is a credit union employee or volunteer can apply for the award, which will cover conference registration. Cornerstone Award recipients will also receive a one year subscription to The Federal Credit Union, NAFCU's bimonthly magazine.

NAFCU and AACUC officials will choose the award recipient on the basis of a personal essay and financial need, according to AACUC.
Applications for the 2008 awards will be accepted between now and Jan. 18, 2008. The Cornerstone application can be found at www.aacuc.org.
