GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Open Solutions Inc. now will be offering its clients the mobile banking platform from MShift Inc., a Silicon Valley wireless specialist that has been gaining traction lately in the credit union space.

The MShift Mobile Banking Solution extends core functions, account summaries, transfers and bill payments to all Web-enabled mobile devices, including cell phones, iPhones and Palm and BlackBerry handhelds.

San Jose-based MShift's client list includes about 30 credit unions, including such big names as Mountain America, The Golden 1, Digital, Xerox, Safe, VyStar and KeyPoint.
