HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Ongoing Operations, LLC recently marked a milestone by signing on its 50th credit union.
The $51 million DOT Federal Credit Union is the latest to partner with the disaster recovery and business continuity CUSO. Ongoing Operations said 2.3 million credit unions members are now under the protections of its services.
"We chose to go with Ongoing Operations because we wanted a vendor with intimate knowledge of credit unions, and the issues that they face," said Tony Perugino, CFO of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based DOT FCU. "The fact that Ongoing Operations is a CUSO was very appealing to us. The staff is very knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. They have a great reputation within the industry, and they have the facilities, talent and desire to meet all our needs."

Kirk Drake, CEO of Ongoing Operations, said "This milestone of having our 50th credit union sign on in such a short duration, further establishes that our 'always on' standard for applications and data are exactly what our end-users have been looking for. They not only want compliance, but also peace of mind."
Ongoing Operations recently opened a second disaster recovery center in Portland. The CUSO was formed by seven Mid-Atlantic region credit unions in March 2005.
