BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Fiserv Inc. has captured a lot of business riding the Check 21 wave.
The technology solutions provider says it has signed 872 merchant capture clients and 972 for branch capture through September 2007.
That puts Fiserv atop the list of core processors providing the imaging solutions, the company says.

While the branch and merchant capture solutions are targeted towards Fiserv's more than 7,000 clients, they can be deployed by any credit union or bank. The company says its Fiserv Clearing Network utility also is growing fast and helping to drive down check-clearing costs.
