JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) says it has signed a multi-year contract to provide the MISER core processing system to Premier America Credit Union in Chatsworth, Calif.

The $1.3 billion CU made the choice based on “superior product capabilities” and after checking with other credit union customers of Jacksonville-based FIS, says John Merlo, president and CEO of Premier America (www.premier.org.)

The MISER system includes complete deposit and lending functionality, along with comprehensive business and operational features, according to FIS (www.fidelityinfoservices.com.)

Premier America has nine branches in California and Texas and currently is running on a re:Member Data Services platform from Open Solutions Inc., according to NCUA.
