INDIANAPOLIS — On a campaign to enlarge its Indiana profileunder the CUSO umbrella, the $727 million Eli Lilly Federal CreditUnion said this week it expects to add 15 CUs by yearend to an autobuying service as well as reach out to others in such areas asmortgages, marketing and legal advice.

“Based on our own track record, we feel we have somethingvaluable to share with others through our CUSO,” said LisaSchlehuber, the president/CEO of one of the nation's most venerablesingle sponsor CUs.

At the same time, officials of the Lilly CUSO, LCU FinancialServices said they have been in touch with the Indiana Credit UnionLeague about future product linkups. The league acknowledged thatit is exploring a Lilly deal and on a broader note is looking atconducting a first-time meeting in November of all Indiana CUSOsregarding product offerings to small CUs in need of specializedservices.
