WASHINGTON — CUNA President/CEO Dan Mica has renewed his contract with the organization.
CUNA has confirmed that Mica renewed his contract for "up to" another four years but would not go into further detail.
During his tenure, the former congressman moved CUNA's headquarters from Madison, Wis. to Washington, D.C., putting a strong credit union presence in the nation's capital. From the start, he was thrown into the midst of a failing credit card operation owned by CUNA, which was sold off, and H.R. 1151. He also led efforts to restructure the CUNA Board and dues calculations.
