VIENNA, Va. — Navy Federal Credit Union's Pensacola, FloridaHeritage Oaks Campus Building One, designed by ASD, Inc., hasrecently received the highest award from BusinessWeek andArchitectural Record magazines 10th annual “Good Design is GoodBusiness” competition.

The award recognizes innovative building design projects thathelp solve problems and achieve specific goals for companies,nonprofits, institutions, and governmental agencies.

The four winners of the Award of Excellence in 2007 wereselected from a

diverse and competitive pool of 96 projects from nine differentcountries. All projects were completed within the past four years.The competition was judged on such factors as the building's designelements that have led to improvements such as increased employeeretention, reduced energy costs, heightened production, rebrandingor a boost in revenue.

The Pensacola, Florida Heritage Oaks Campus Building One is alsothe first commercial building in Florida to have received aLeadership in Energy and

Environmental Design green building certification.
