NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Credit union & CUSO leaders are invited to attend the NACUSO 2007 CEO Collaborative hosted by CU*Answers, Sept. 27-28 at the Crowne Plaza Grand Rapids in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The collaborative will feature sessions on finding solutions to business challenges including capital acquisition strategies, "the next best collaborations," and the power of the franchise. Attendees will also have additional opportunities to share information on strategies, successes and industry issues with their peers.

Some of the speakers will include Randy Karnes, CEO of CU*Answers, who will speak on having the "right blueprint" for designing collaborative technology; Jon Voskuil, vice president/business intelligence, Amway Corporation, considered the largest multi-level marketing organization in the world with more than $7 billon in sales; and Kent Moore, chief financial officer at Town North Bank, who will discuss capital acquisition strategies for CUSOs. Moore will speak on how Town North Bank raised $60 million in capital that was "oversubscribed" [$94 million] in 2006 and is now invested into the bank in a unique "as-needed-basis" business plan to support the bank's market expansion plans.
