MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union has taken its focus of Building Relationships for Life to help serve the underserved.

The credit union has recently partnered with the South Central Employment Corporation to provide financial literacy training and materials for the use of SEC Case Managers throughout South Central Pennsylvania.

Community Relations Coordinator Toni Montgomery conducted a two-hour training session on the National Endowment for Financial Education training materials. Montgomery detailed the program and the different ways to implement the program in classrooms and in one-on-one situations.

"The South Central Employment Corporation provides career development services to low income families and displaced workers, as well as many other segment groups. It was great to work with this organization to provide financial literacy in our community," said Montgomery.

The South Central Employment Corporation is federally and state funded, and services are provided at no charge to customers.
