MALVERN, Pa. — Akcelerant Software LLC is now packaging its Framework workflow and business process automation suite with the automated voice messaging solution from SoundBite Communications Inc.

Arizona Federal, a credit union user of Akcelerant Software for several years, is now using the combined solution to collect various types of debt and has launched its first collections campaign that includes automated calling.

"It's been a huge success," says Cary Shumway, director of collect at $1.7 billion Arizona Federal in Phoenix.

The alliance enables Akcelerant customers to contact more account holders, reduce risk, increase revenue and enhance member service, according to Malvern-based Akcelerant and SoundBite of Burlington, Mass., which says its clients made nearly a billion automated calls last year.

"It complements our other product offerings on the Akcelerant Framework, and we're confident that it will quickly emerge as the industry standard, replacing legacy dialing technology," says Eric Snyder, senior vice president of business development at Akcelerant.
