NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Credit unions are invited to attend NACUSO and Bank Insurance & Securities Association's first Credit Union Symposium.
The "credit union only" breakout sessions will take place Sept. 11-12 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis in St. Louis. The symposium will follow the regular BISA 2007 Community & Regional Bank Forum Sept. 9-11.
Larry Braley, program manager at $1.7 billion Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, will present a case study on effective member cross-referral systems and program integration. Pete Snyder, president of Kinecta Financial Management Co. LLC and Callahan & Associates, Inc. will hold a dinner presentation detailing the "Credit Union Productivity and Performance Benchmarking Study," which is scheduled for introduction soon, according to NACUSO. Guy Messick, NACUSO legal counsel, will also discuss the latest information on credit union legal and regulatory issues.

This event will conclude Wednesday morning, Sept. 12, with a credit union summary and discussion focused on the issues covered at the main BISA conference and NACUSO/BISA's breakout sessions. NACUSO will also be seeking input for future BISA and NACUSO credit union investment/insurance programming.
