FAIRFAX, Va. — Joining a growing list of credit unions that have extended their hours to seven days a week is Fairfax County Federal Credit Union.

The $230 million credit union's new, full-service Springfield branch will be open from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Sundays in addition to 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The branch is located across from Springfield Mall, considered a central location and "easily reachable from the heavily traveled I-395/I-95 corridor."

"Excellent service has been an important foundation of the relationship with our members, and now offering Sunday hours is another way we can help make our member's lives a little easier and a lot more convenient" said Joe Thomas, president/CEO of Fairfax County FCU.
