ATLANTA -- Delta Community Credit Union's official weeklonggrand opening of its Peachtree City branch has been a hit with arearesidents.

A 2,000 square-foot atrium connects the 14,000 square-footbranch to a 39,000 square-foot office building where several of thecredit union's departments are housed.

"Our membership base is very strong in Fayette County, and we'redelighted to increase our presence here with our third location inthe county and second site in Peachtree City," said Delta CommunityCU President/CEO Rick Foley. "We look forward to providing thecitizens of Fayette County our exceptional brand of member service,which focuses on the best in financial products and services."

Other speakers at a ribbon cutting event included Lacie Banks,branch manager; Mark Gray, with the Chamber of Commerce; and StateSenator Ronnie Chance.

Delta Community CU tapped engaged Atlanta-based LEVEL5 todevelop a retail delivery strategy that best positions it to serveexisting and potential members in the Atlanta area. Sky Design, asubsidiary of ASD, one of the professional groups on the LEVEL5team, is responsible for the credit union's retail merchandisingand developed the new graphics and branding identity for the DeltaCommunity CU branch prototype.

The unique design of this branch and other recent ones haseveryone buzzing. Recently the credit union received a Diamondaward from the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council inthe Retail Merchandising category for the interior design of itsnew branches.

"The interior retail merchandising has been integral to theambiance that is unique to the four new community branches thatDelta Community built in 2006 and 2007," said Delta Community CUVice President of Marketing Mary Olson. "The design for our newbranches is quite open and inviting and has been well-received bymembers."
