GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Open Solutions Inc.'s core processing portfolio has taken on a Caribbean flair with the signing of Eastern Credit Union of Trinidad and Tobago.
The $150 million CU has more than 115,000 members. Based in St. Joseph, Eastern CU (www.easterncutt.com) has nine branches on Trinidad and will be using the international version of the Open Solutions' relational database platform, The Complete Credit Union Solution.
The credit union also will be using Open Solutions' CRM and business intelligence tools, as well as its POSH payments solution, and will be the first credit union accepted into the LINX network of ATM and point-of-sale devices in the Caribbean nation, the company says.
