PORTLAND, Ore. — To offer another space for credit unions that may need it after a natural disaster or a stop in business operations, Ongoing Operations, LLC has opened a new 6,000-square foot facility here.
The disaster recovery facility will offer space for credit unions to purchase as a part of their preparedness plan, according to Ongoing Operations. There will be access to workstations that are ready for immediate use. Each remote workspace is equipped with workrooms, copiers, printers, fax machines, and other office equipment.
To date, three credit unions–Marion and Polk Schools CU, Avantis CU and Central Willamette Community CU are the first in Oregon to secure Ongoing Operations' services. They have also decided to financially invest in the CUSO, Ongoing Operations said.
