Keys Federal Credit Union, Key West, Fla., recently presented a financial fitness seminar to members of local military. Naval Air Station Key West and the Fleet & Family Support Center sponsored the session held at Trumbo Palms. President/CEO of the CU, John Dolan-Heitlinger, facilitated the seminar for military personnel on how to use credit wisely and the importance of starting a savings plan early, no matter how small. Keys is the only local financial institution selected to join the efforts of the Naval Air Station Key West and the National Military Saves campaign, to encourage healthy financial habits for those who serve the community and the country.

Kohler Credit Union, Kohler, Wis., recently sent two of its employees, Chue Xiong Lee and Julissa Fiallos, to conduct financial literacy presentations in Hmong and Spanish for students at Sheboygan South High School as part of the school's English Language Learners (ELL) program. Because the presenters were from students' own cultures, they were able to make a personal connection while

learning about money management and receiving financial assistance, to the school's ELL Program.
