Public Service Credit Union, Romulus, Mich., recently held its grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony at its new Administration Building and Romulus Branch. The ribbon cutting featured a ribbon made of 250, $1 bills that were given to a member in a random drawing at the end of the grand opening week celebration. Attendees were treated to a champagne reception along with hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and raffle prizes, as well as a tour of the new facility. The new branch is three stories and 21,000 square feet.Staley Credit Union, Decatur, Ill., recently completed an addition and remodeling of its headquarters. HTG Architects and Christy-Folz, Inc. teamed up to provide the credit union’s headquarters with a facelift, remodeling and large, new 4,500 square foot addition that included a four-lane drive-up facility. The project provided a fresh look and much needed space, allowing the credit union to better serve its members. The project is highlighted by a remodeled lobby, including a greeter station and teller line area.BestSource Credit Union, Waterford, Mich., recently opened the doors to its first community branch. For more than 50 years the credit union has served Macy’s employees and family members and now it has expanded its membership to include those who live, work or worship in areas of Oakland County. The new branch office will offer a full range of consumer savings and loan options, including money market accounts, CDs, home equity and mortgage loans, checking accounts, auto loans and free online banking services. In addition, the branch will offer members 24-hour ATM access and convenient lobby and drive-thru hours.
