BASKING RIDGE, N.J. — Affinity Federal Credit Union has recently celebrated the Saint Peter's University Hospital Branch's first anniversary.

"Our first year has been a very successful one," said Valerie Latham, member service officer at Affinity. "Since opening, the branch has grown to approximately 600 members, many of whom are new to the Affinity family."

According to Saint Peter's Director of Compensation/Benefits Janet Hunter-Wilson, the branch provides employees convenient access to a complete range of financial services five days a week.

In addition, Saint Peter's members are able to become more financially savvy via a series of lunch and learn sessions on mortgages and investment services that are taught by Affinity financial experts.

Saint Peter's employees are also encouraged to use Affinity's Budget and Score Enhancement Service coaches, as well as Affinity Investment Service counselors, to further their financial education.

"Employees do not have to travel out of their way to do their banking or to enhance their financial well-being," said Hunter-Wilson. "Affinity's wide range of services supports the financial needs of our employees in a holistic way that benefits them far beyond the walls of our institution."

Employee services include deposit accounts for every need such as checking, money market, club and youth accounts; access to Affinity's Auto Resource Center which helps members negotiate and finance the purchase of a car; the Stress-Free Mortgage (which offers a guaranteed lowest-rate lock-in); equity lines and low-interest loans; Affinity Visa and MasterCard accounts; and Internet banking with free bill pay and online deposit services.
