SEATTLE -- Spokane Federal Credit Union has been named one ofWashington's Best 100 Companies to Work For by Washington CEOMagazine.

SFCU was selected from among more than 200 Evergreen Statecompanies nominated for consideration. The overall rankings willappear in the magazine's July issue in four categories: large,medium, small and nonprofits.

"The companies included in the list have demonstrated that theyvalue their employees and their contributions to overall success,"said Bob Ritter, publisher and chief executive officers of themagazine. "Our evaluation is extensive. It included surveys of bothemployees and management and review by a distinguished group ofhuman resource professionals."

Ritter said all 100 companies will be honored June 28 withdinner, music and a celebration of success. The event will be heldat the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. The top threecompanies in each category will receive special recognition.

Washington CEO Magazine covers business and economics on astatewide basis. It publishes 13 issues annually with reports onbusiness and industry and public policy issues that impact thestate's economy. Its mission is to provide "essential perspectivesfor Northwest Decision Makers."
