OKLAHOMA CITY — Praising her industry contributions over a nine-year tenure including collaborative work on H.R. 1151, the Oklahoma Credit Union League formally confirmed today that its President/CEO Lisa Finley would be resigning effective this Saturday, June 16.

“We want to thank Lisa for all she has done during her career at the league to improve our organization, especially during the past two plus years as our President/CEO,” said OCUL Chairman Michael Kloiber, president/CEO of Tinker Federal Credit Union. “Her positive attitude and talents will be missed. We wish her the best in the future.”

In turn, Finley said her league work starting in 1998 as head of communications and governmental affairs brought her “great joy and fulfillment” and now she wishes the 83-member league continued success.

League officials sought to tamp down any notion of discontent or unhappiness and that Finley's decision was “her own and a matter of life changes in her career.”

Named as interim CEO is Debra J. (D.J.) Morrow Ingram, executive vice president who since February 2006 has overseen the advocacy efforts of the league. An attorney, Ingram previously worked as government relations director in the late 90s.

Finley was unavailable for comment on her future plans, but would remain in league contact through the end of the month, said officials.
