ARLINGTON, Va. — NAFCU announced that Patty Briotta has been named its new public relations manager.
Briotta brings a broad range of public relations and marketing experience to her new position. Most recently, Briotta ran her own public relations/marketing consulting business where she managed a wide array of corporate and nonprofit clients including Lexis/Nexis and The American Network of Community Options and Resources.
Briotta will be responsible for NAFCU's media relations and outreach campaigns. "We are delighted to have someone with Patty's distinctive breadth and depth of experience as we look to strengthen NAFCU's relationships with the media and beyond," NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker said.

Prior to managing her own business, Briotta held a variety of communications positions for The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, building materials company Lafarge
North America, the National Association of
Life Underwriters, and at Manning, Selvage & Lee in New York.
Briotta earned a bachelor's degree from New York University and completed an executive education program at Duke University.
