BEAUMONT, Texas — The over $223 million Mobiloil Federal Credit Union recently obtained talent from outside the CU industry and from the TV industry when it appointed Jody Swango as its new marketing director.
Before joining Mobiloil FCU, Swango was a television news producer at the CBS affiliate in Beaumont. She produced the weekday 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. newscasts, Live at Five and 6 News Tonight.
With her television background, Swango will be responsible for creating and designing marketing plans to support the credit union's strategic goals and objectives. She will be in charge of marketing Mobiloil's image to current members and potential members.

Swango has a bachelor of science degree in Communication from Lamar University.
