FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — City County Credit Union has recently hosted a special community open house at its Pembroke Pines branch as part of its special initiative to service the financial needs of the Caribbean community in Broward County.
The open house is part of the cooperative effort between Caribbean Vibes Marketing and the credit union to attract prospective members from this group. Initiatives include a media advertising campaign on Caribbean radio stations; print advertising in local Caribbean newspapers and circulation of brochures in the community.
During the Open House City County Credit Union staffers were on hand to answer questions and to provide information about the financial services available. The open house included a live radio broadcast on MYSTIC 1400 AM, one of the stations currently being used to reach the Broward Caribbean Community.

"We want the community to know we are here and have the products and services available for them," said Sandra Spence, vice president of marketing. "And of course, we want them to know that at City County Credit Union we value their business, here they are not just customers they are family."
