DONATIONS

As a result of the 2006 Giving Tree fundraising event held during Dec. 2006, CASE Credit Union, Lansing, Mich., raised and donated over $2,370 to the Angel House in Mason. Additionally, CASE donated a seven foot fully decorated holiday theme–Holiday Cookie Cutter–tree as well as a variety of teddy bears and other toys given by an individual CASE member. To raise funds, CASE staff held weekly “jeans days” and employee raffles and purchased, decorated and auctioned a variety of lighted holiday themed trees including a Barbie Doll tree, tropical holiday palm tree, teacher tree, white polar bear tree, hold ‘em or fold them poker tree and more. Angel House is a program provided through Child & Family Services that care for children in crisis in the Ingham county area–children who have been taken into protective custody because of sexual and/or physical abuse.
