TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida Credit Union League Senior VicePresident of Administration Cassandra J. Grayson has recently beenappointed to the Financial Literacy Council by Florida ChiefFinancial Officer Alex Sink.
"We are especially pleased about the appointment of Cassandra tothis council," said Guy Hood, FCUL president/CEO. "She willrepresent credit unions well in this critical effort."
The Council was created by the Florida Legislature in 2006 toprovide a single state resource to the general public on financialliteracy. CFO Sink will use the Financial Literacy Council to helpeducate Floridians about important financial issues, such asavoiding excessive debt, the importance of saving, making soundinvestment decisions, and planning for retirement.
