HERSHEY, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association's 73rd Annual Meeting opened with some fun and some inspiration.

The fun started with a parody of Ebert & Roeper, with one as a credit union guy, the other a banker.

The two reviewed moves such as "Lenders of the Last Resort", "A Few Good Credit Unions", "Examiners in Black", and others. Each showed clips from the real memorable films: "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "A Few Good Men", and "Men in Black", and delivered banker/CU related-voice over lines highlighting the credit union difference. Tom Cruise delivered this powerful line to Jack Nicholson, "Isn't it true you sued the regulator to get at credit unions' business plans", referring to a banker lawsuit in Pennsylvania. Nicholson told Cruise, "Consumers can't handle the truth!".
