WASHINGTON — CUNA continues to permeate the more mainstream media markets.
President/CEO Dan Mica did a Q&A on credit unions and small business lending for a BusinessWeek.com podcast recently. The podcast covers a 14-minute interview with Smart Answers columnist Karen E. Klein.
Mica explained the credit union difference and how they truly are not banks. He talked about credit unions' interest in smaller business loans that often get rejected by the banks and added that the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1537) would allow credit unions to expand their business lending.
