WASHINGTON — The Financial Services Roundtable President/CEO Steve Bartlett recently announced that Leigh Williams was selected as the new CEO of its business strategy and technology arm, BITS.

Williams replaces founding BITS CEO Catherine A. Allen, who announced on Jan. 30 that she would step down effective May 1 after leading BITS through its first decade.

Leigh Williams comes to BITS from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he served as a Senior Fellow in the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government, focusing on public and private sector collaboration in the governance of privacy and security. Prior to that, he worked at Fidelity Investments for many years. During his career, he also held a variety of leadership roles, including within BITS and The Financial Services Roundtable.
