ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Mike Stevens has been named the new CEO of MidWest Financial Credit Union.
Stevens had been serving as interim CEO since Larry Knoll's departure last April. Knoll had been with MidWest Financial since October 2000. According to Stevens, the board of directors and Knoll "decided to part." "As far as we know," Knoll is now working in real estate in Texas, Stevens said.
Stevens has been with the CU for 18 years, serving in a variety of roles including chief financial officer and most recently as chief information officer.

"Mike has done an exemplary job in helping to define the direction of the credit union and providing a steady foundation for growth and development over the past year," expressed Board Chairman David Morlock. "We're pleased to be making his interim role permanent."
The $200 million MidWest Financial serves approximately 16,000 members.
