TAMPA, Fla. — MacDill Federal Credit Union and the regional office of Raytheon, one of the nation's leading defense contractors, have teamed up to take active duty military personnel stationed at MacDill Air Force Base out to the ballgame.

The two organizations are offering free tickets to Tampa Bay Devil Rays major league baseball games.

"We first opened for business on MacDill Air Force Base more than fifty years ago," said MacDill FCU Senior Vice President/Chief Lending and Operations Officer Kevin Sweeney. "Active and retired military personnel are still a significant segment of our membership, and we welcome this opportunity to show our support for the young men and women serving in the Armed Forces."

"MacDillville" officially opened before the Devil Rays home opener during a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Major General Timothy Ghormley of MacDill Air Force Base, as well as representatives from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Raytheon and MacDill FCU.
