WATERTOWN, Conn. — Technology Groups Federal Credit Union and Mutual Security Credit Union have announced that they have agreed to merge.
The boards of the two credit unions announced their intent to merge April 25. The $27 million Technology Groups FCU is a multiple group credit union located in Watertown. Mutual Security Credit Union located in Wilton is a $170 million credit union serving the citizens of Fairfield and Litchfield counties.
The merger is pending the approval of the Connecticut Banking Department and NCUA.
