KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. — Strohl Systems says the new version of its online business continuity planning solution includes the ability to create an unlimited number of plans and have concurrent users.

The PLANet 3 system takes users step-by-step through the process of building specific plans for each type of recovery effort, including physical facility and IT. The company says the methodology is intended to help users meet FFIEC and NCUA requirements.

More than 1,000 credit unions and community banks currently use PLANet to build, test and maintain their business continuity plans, the company says.

"I found several things in PLANet 3 that will only enhance this effectiveness for us, including improved navigation elements; greatly expanded importing capabilities; an enhanced, easier to use, more robust business impact analysis tool, and the new functionality which provides the ability to control the order in which each element of the plan is published and printed," says David Rutenber, vice president of information systems at Sidney Federal Credit Union Sidney, N.Y., a PLANet 3 beta user.
